MacMarketing S.L. and the ambassadorclub do not own any assets or properties.
Everything they use is rented.
The location is rented from the Puerto Calma Group S.L. which happens to own several timeshare properties in and around Puerto Rico.
Contracts signed by unfortunate clients are probably not signed with MacMarketing S.L. Viajes Amadores S.L. or the Ambassadorclub S.L., but more likely with the Puerto Calma Group or another mysterious company.
History will tell that MacMarketing S.L. and the Ambassador club by the end of 2011 might close their activities and start all over again under another company name with the same employees.

Who is John Macdonald.

John Macdonald was a former sales and marketing manager within the ANFI group during 2008.
After the installation ( end 2008 ) of Cristian Kuth, former CEO of Viajes Sonnentravel and Destination Club located in Maspalomas Gran Canaria, there was not enough room for 2 captains on one ship.
John Macdonald was friendly asked to leave the company.
Darren Davies was so clever to sign a petition against the new Sales and Marketing manager Cristian Kuth..
As a result, Darren Davies was also asked to leave the ANFI Group.
In 2009 John Macdonald registered a new company called MacMarketing S.L.

S.L. means: Sociedad Limitada in other words, the company has a legal responsibility to maximum 3.000 Euro.
So in case of any problems they could close the company and that’s it!

As expected it seems that the Puerto Calma Group is working together with MacMarketing S.L. also known as Ambassador Club, Club Ambassador and Viajes Amadores.

BE AWARE!! that these people are only interested in YOUR money and will try to sell you a timeshare contract or holiday club membership.

Until this year the Puerto Calma group ( a part of the ROCA group in Puerto Rico ) was very correct regarding selling their timeshare to the public.
Now they sold their soul to the devil and lower themselves to selling trough the companies owned by John Macdonald.

Club Ambassador has changed their web site for only one reason, fooling the officials in Spain.

Now their web site looks like any other holiday booking site, but they are continuing selling
Timeshare and holiday packs for the Puerto Calma Group and informing the public on the
web site about the Roca Family witch has no value at all .
This trick is to convince you that they are a legal company working within the Spanish law.

If they are working within the Spanish law consider this:

During the first 10 days after signing a contract you do NOT have to pay anything !!

This is the legal ´´ cooling off ´´ period !!

Better to sign NOTHING and first discuss the contract in your hotel or apartment and consider
if you really need this product.

After all : you don’t buy a new car by believing the ´´ fancy ´´ car dealer do you???

Newly formed company under the helm of John MacDonald and Darren Davies has plenty of real-world experience, and new endeavors with both Dreamplace and Puerto Calma benefit from it

The new company, The Enduria Group, which is based in the Canary Islands’ Gran Canaria, was the brainchild of John MacDonald and Darren Davies, who between them have over 30 years’ experience within the vacation membership sector. Having previously worked together at Anfi del Mar in Gran Canaria, ( both have been sacked by Anfi ) MacDonald and Davies had already developed a strong working relationship. It was their combined experience, business aptitude and foresight that saw them being approached by the Puerto Calma Group, with the objective of launching a new business venture in Gran Canaria.

“We wanted to do something to invigorate our sales operations, so we talked to John and Darren,” says Francisco Iniesta, director of the Puerto Calma Group. “We wanted to tap into their tremendous timesharing sales and marketing experience and expertise.” It was a challenge MacDonald and Davies were more than capable of undertaking, and they both felt strongly that a trial membership product was the way forward for the Puerto Calma Group in order to generate new clients for their resorts. So they developed the Ambassador Club at Amadores. And as four of the group’s resorts are in the AmadoresBeach area (with one in Gran Canaria’s Puerto Rico), choosing a name was simple.

But selling a holiday pack in the Canaries isn’t as easy because of the actions of some unscrupulous operators. ( look who’s talking… )

“Holiday pack is a swear word here,” Managing Director MacDonald notes. “Lots of holiday pack companies just sell fresh air, and we wanted to avoid any connection with them. It’s been a challenge – but that’s why we are absolutely adamant that everything we do is completely white, completely transparent, completely within the laws,” he says.    ( yeah.. whatever.. )
